GTA San Andreas launching on mobile

The Grand Theft Auto series is bringing another popular instalment onto mobile devices

The much loved Grand Theft Auto franchise is expanding its game catalogue to mobile devices again. GTA: San Andreas is coming to iOS, Windows Phone and Android this December, following the mobile releases of GTA III and GTA: Vice City.
Next month you will be able to pick up your mobile device and wreak havoc on the mean streets of Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturas. Rockstar is boasting that the new game will be "the best-looking version of San Andreas yet." Thanks to the latest updates in hardware the GTA team has created a game with remastered and more detailed graphics.
The game features improved car models, characters and has reorganised the checkpoint system, making game progression easier.
Because the game has been released for mobile devices, Rockstar has updated its touch controls. Rockstar aims to make driving and game play easier by making the display buttons only available when you need them. San Andreas is also compatible with external controllers, such as the iOS supported Logitech PowerShell controller.
One of the main criticisms of the original console release was the checkpoint system being too infrequent, making it a chore when the player dies, so it’ll be appreciated that it has been updated. There has been no official release date or pricing but more details are to follow in the next few weeks.
So, ready your iPads, iPhones, Kindle Fires, Windows phones, and Android devices because the next installment of GTA is on the way.
