Game of Thrones game for iOS gets official with teaser video

Telltale Games, developer behind The Walking Dead games is working with the Game of Thrones franchise

Telltale Games, the developer which made those Walking Dead games which won countless awards last year, is rumoured to be making a game based on popular TV and novel series Game of Thrones.

Telltale is releasing the second season of The Walking Dead games and the second part of The Wolf Among Us series on iOS devices including iPhone and iPad very soon.

These games are also set to be available on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

IGN claims it has learned from multiple sources that Telltale is developing a game based on George R.R. Martin’s epic fantasy saga.

Speaking to IGN, Steve Allison, senior vice president of publishing at Telltale, neither confirmed nor denied the rumour.

"We get these sorts of rumours about what we could be working on next cropping up all the time. Officially we have no comment," he said.

Another Game of Thrones property could be interesting, the franchise would be in good hands considering how well made the iOS Walking Dead games were made.

It would be interesting to see another visual interpretation of the franchise other than the TV series as well.
