We know Apple is capable of making things of beauty - just look at the iPhone 5s in comparison to just about every Android smartphone, sit an iMac next to a Windows all-in-one PC or put a Mac Pro side-by-side with a professional desktop tower PC. However, we'd still be blown away if it could make the upcoming iPhone 6 look like these gorgeous concept renders.Created by 3D artist Martin Hajek, who has been responsible for some of the most realistic renders of Apple's forthcoming iPhone, these latest images show what the handset would look like with the rumoured curved glass display that would see the screen stretch around the edges of the handset, rather than to a flat glass front panel and square edges. It also shows a fully aluminium chassis, rather than a rear glass panel as seen on the iPhone 5s.

As with Hajek's previous renders, the new images also show the power/sleep button relocated to the side of the handset, as rumours suggest Apple has moved it from the top of the phone in order to make it easier to reach, because the screen will be increasing in size from 4in to 4.7in. Shown side-by-side with an iPhone 5s, the iPhone 6 is noticeably larger, but thinner and with rounded corners, much like the redesigned 5th generation iPod Touch.

The TouchID fingerprint sensor built into the home button makes a return, with space above and below the display like previous iPhone models, although the new curved glass display all but eliminates bezels at the sides of the handset. It's undeniably eye-catching and would represent a first, both for Apple and the mobile industry, but naturally these concepts aren't any indication of what Apple is actually working on.The iPhone 6 isn't expected to be revealed until September, even with Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) scheduled for the 2nd of June, so we'll just have to wait until an official announcement - and keep our fingers crossed the real thing looks have as good as these renders.
